Marilyn had the privilege of growing up in a Christian family where her parents honored God in all they did. Their desire was to see their five daughters come to know the Lord and to live for Him. The Lord graciously granted their request. To grow up in a Christian home is such a privilege.
Marilyn came to know the Lord as her personal Savior at the age of 10 years. She schooled in Galt, Ontario, which is now known as Cambridge and attended Waterloo University. In those years she had the opportunity to teach Sunday school, help in children’s work and tent meetings. While going to university she worked in a medical lab assistant at the Cambridge memorial Hospital.
In 1980 she married Bruce with the knowledge that the Lord had also called her to serve Him in Zambia. They arrived in Zambia Feb 5, 1981.
